Each “white” person has important contributions to offer in the movement towards truth and repair.
Many of us are taking important actions like phonebanking, donating, and volunteering.
We are learning by doing workshops, reading books, watching documentaries and visiting museums.
When it comes to speaking up at the dinner table, or responding to a racist policy at work, many of us freeze or react unproductively.
No matter how much we learn, taking action with the “white” people we already know can be the hardest thing to do. It’s also the most effective, because we have the most influence to make change where we already have relationships.
THIS IS WHAT RECKON WITH PROVIDES
Responding to what’s happening in our lives every day is challenging. We need support to do it well and consistently.

Reckon With participants vary in many ways:
We live all over
the United States
We work in many different industries
Some of us are long-time learners, others are just beginning
But all Reckon With participants share these three things:
We’re all racialized as “white”
We’re all motivated to do something about racial injustice
We all understand that changing the world starts with changing ourselves, and are ready to look honestly in the mirror
